What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a romantic Parisian getaway? Well, probably not a solo trip to Paris.
Having just finished my portfolio and started studying for the MRCEM Part A exam I’d be sitting in May, a quick trip to Paris seemed like the perfect excuse to shirk my duties. After my gap year, it felt as if I had lost the ability to sit down and concentrate. I’d often find myself getting distracted and, when I’d finally talk myself into behaving, I’d come this close to throwing a tantrum and giving up just so I wouldn’t waste any more of my precious time studying.
And so, a quick trip to one of the most popular European destinations was a much-welcome distraction. Given how busy I had been, and the fact that I usually like to plan my trips down to the last detail, I found myself wondering how I could compromise. Turns out, I had all the help I could ever need from our friendly neighbourhood artificially intelligent comrade, ChatGPT.
One simple prompt, and there it was – the full four-day itinerary right in front of my very eyes. With some minor tweaking, I had the perfect plan in a matter of minutes – a shortcut that would end up revolutionising my travel planning from then on. Talk about convenience!
And, speaking of convenience, I’d also be staying with Kevin, a friend who had moved there a few months earlier. Score!
