Fifth year arrived with the unsettling realisation that the end was no longer theoretical. Final placements, exams and clinical responsibility made the distance between student and doctor feel smaller every day.
These entries follow the final year of medical school through pressure, uncertainty and the sudden disruption of 2020. The question is no longer whether I can survive the course, but who I will be when it finally ends.
