The itinerary breaks - and something better begins.
Honduras crosses the Maya heartland at Copán, follows the Caribbean coast through Tela and La Ceiba, then takes a ferry to Utila for what was supposed to be a brief diving stop.
Instead, the road pauses for two months. Underwater Vision becomes home, scuba diving becomes a vocation, strangers become family and the gap year stops being only about seeing new places. It becomes a chance to build an entirely different life.
