RAJA AMPAT

And just like that, our dive trip in Raja Ampat was over. Just like that, six incredible days had passed us by – the best diving experience thus far.

With some of the group leaving early in the morning shortly after breakfast, I was left in the company of the Singaporean Gang. As always, I commissioned Siti to help me identify some of the creatures we had seen during the previous dives, trying to catalogue as many fish and other marine species as possible before we too had to disembark.

I gotta admit leaving the ship was a bit bittersweet. I’d be leaving the divine archipelago with all its amazing dive sites behind, but I had yet another dive trip coming up in yet another beautiful place. I’d be leaving the people I spent six days with, albeit people I didn’t bond too much with. And, worst of all, I’d be leaving the comfort of the ship for a whole day’s worth of travelling around.
