Argentina Part I begins amid the grand avenues, neighbourhoods and restless energy of Buenos Aires, turns north towards the rainforest and thundering cascades of Iguazú, then crosses almost the entire country to Tierra del Fuego.

Buenos Aires gives way to the humidity and thunder of Iguazú before the route leaps south to Tierra del Fuego. By Ushuaia, jungle catwalks have become peat bogs, mountain trails and the first glacier of the journey - with Antarctica waiting just beyond the Beagle Channel.
