I’m Marius Brown – a regular, run-of-the-mill idiot with ambitions of becoming an extraordinary doctor and an infamous pirate. Until I pull off either feat, you’ll usually find me running on a limitless supply of coffee and travelling the world one questionable transport choice at a time.
The Roving Doctor is built on two lifelong obsessions:
TRAVEL
Growing up on One Piece, I dreamed of sailing the seven seas and stumbling into uncharted territory. Lacking a pirate ship, I’ve settled for buses, tuk-tuks, ferries, and whatever else gets me closer to the edge of the map.
MEDICINE
When you grow up watching far too much Grey’s Anatomy, choosing a career in medicine doesn’t exactly come as a surprise. Over time, becoming a doctor has turned into my monomaniacal obsession.
This blog lives in the space between hospital corridors and distant horizons – a place where medicine, adventure, humour, and a constant search for something more all collide.
